Makao Group Pty Ltd was founded in Naarm (Melbourne, Australia) on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people.
We pay our respects to the Traditional Owners of this land and waterways, and to their Elders past, present, and emerging. We extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, whose cultures are the world’s oldest continuous living cultures.
We honour the enduring spiritual connection First Nations peoples have with community, as well as with the lands, oceans, waterways, skies, and all living systems.
We also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the many lands where Makao works across Australia and internationally. The land on which we live, work, and play always was—and always will be—Aboriginal land.
